This Kaster is equipped with two Eric Smith (Smitty Guitars) Spicebuckers. Eric has helped me develop the Schwung concept. These humbuckers have a medium output and can be split by a push/pull on the tone pot. When split, this Kaster sounds very much like an authentic strat, due to the alder body, the flamed maple neck and the rosewood fretboard. In HB mode, the guitar sounds open and round at a clean amp, and juicy fat with some gain, but always defined. The fantastic Kahler bridge needs no introduction. It’s simply the best.
