Schwung Crossover 'Africa'
The art on this special guitar is from an oil painting called ‚Africa’, made by Ernst Wilhelm Nay in 1954. I took the picture myself in the city museum in The Hague, and printed it on the guitarbody, pickguard and PU-covers. With permission of the museum, for one guitar only.
The short scale guitar has a mahogany body with maple top and a maple neck. Unusual maybe, but great sounding with the vintage Roswell SSS pickups. The 24 stainless steel frets are compound radius and PLEK'd. This means string action can be as low as you want and playing comfort is optimal. The vintage trem is a Gotoh 510TS-SF2 with the steel saddles and the massive steel block. GraphTech nut, Sperzel locking tuners.
It's an eye catcher no doubt. Who dares?
